O grande destaque da noite foi Uma Batalha Após a Outra, que venceu 6 estatuetas entre as 13 indicações, incluindo Melhor Filme e Melhor Direção. Já Pecadores, recordista histórico com 16 indicações, conquistou apenas 4 prêmios (Melhor Ator, Roteiro Original, Trilha Sonora e Fotografia).
